After you have made your purchase on the OTIP exclusive Trainers Choice site, you’ll receive an explanation of benefits (EOB). Your EOB provides details of your purchase and the coverage provided to you by your ETFO and OSSTF ELHT Benefits Plan and is available by logging into My Claims on the OTIP plan member site.
You can shop the OTIP exclusive Trainers Choice website for eligible medically necessary stockings if your ETFO or OSSTF ELHT Benefits Plan provides primary coverage for you and your family members.
If you or your dependants have primary coverage under another benefit plan (e.g. your spouse’s plan) you are invited to shop the Trainers Choice retail site using discount code OTIP22 to make your purchase. You will then need to submit your claim to your primary plan first (e.g. your spouse’s plan). Any remaining unpaid amounts can then be submitted to OTIP through your usual method of claims submission.

Compression stockings put graduated pressure on the legs to help increase circulation and venous return. The amount of pressure the stocking applies to your leg at your ankles is the greatest and then becomes lighter as you move up the leg.
Ready-to-wear and standard off-the-shelf compression garments do not require a prescription. However, medical compression garments require a doctor’s script and is needed at checkout.
Our sizing uses ankle, calf, thigh, hip, leg measurements and shoe size depending on the stocking style. To choose the right size for you, go to the How To Measure page.
If you are between two sizes, you should choose the size that suits the circumference of your ankle the best. It is not unusual that the foot of the stocking is either too large or too small, but you will not be able to feel this once you take the stocking on. If the foot is 3 sizes larger or smaller than the size you normally use, try stockings with an open toe.

Custom-made compression stockings are ideal for Lymphedema/Edema patients, who often have some degree of shape distortion in their limbs. These garments are made with thicker but breathable materials and can be produced in unlimited shapes and sizes and in all four compression classes, making them a better fit. The thicker material provides stiffness and a higher containment of Lymphedema/Edema, which also makes them less prone to rolling or cutting into skin folds that are present.

Step 1: The product page
When you have found the right product and are ready to order, click the “Add to cart” button.
Step 2: Checkout
At checkout, enter Billing Details (name, address, email and phone number).
Click radio buttons that are applicable under the “Contra-Indications”.
Upload doctors script.
Complete coordination of benefits information.
Once all required information is entered, choose the radio buttons beside the “Authorization and Disclaimer” and “I have read and agree to…” and select “place Order”.
Step 3. The order is complete.
You will quickly receive an email stating ‘order on-hold until we verify eligibility”.
Once we have validated your script, you will receive an email stating your order is processing.
Step 4. The order is shipped.
Once we have confirmed eligibility with OTIP, you will receive an email verifying your order has been shipped.
